Our school council consists of a group of pupils elected to represent the views of all pupils regarding whole school matters.
Each year group elects two representatives to attend regular school council meetings. The main aim of school council is to further improve our school and ensure that pupils have a voice in our school. The school council discuss issues and ideas that have been discussed with their class prior to the meeting.
Pupils are actively involved in the decision making process in school and fundraising projects. Most recently they have been involved in fund raising for the Australian bush fires and sharing ideas to improve the school environment.
The School Council have had their first meeting with Miss Cawsey to discuss the different ideas that they have on how to improve the school.
They are extremely keen at organising some different events and competitions for the school throughout this school year.
Our first competition is going to be the Great Hormead Bake Off with a school theme.
More information to follow in the next few weeks.
