A Place for September (Reception)

If you are interested in a place at our school for September 2020, you must apply directly through the Hertfordshire Admissions website. Applications open on Monday 4th November 2019. The deadline for applications for September is Tuesday 14th January 2020.

We have Open Days in November, December and January (see our Web Calendar) but if you are unable to make any of these, please contact the school office to arrange a time to visit us.

We have 15 places available each year in our Reception year group. If we are oversubscribed, we will use the criteria detailed in our Admissions Policy (please see below - for September 2019 please see the Admissions Policy 2019-20).

A Place to start Now (In Year Admissions)

If you are looking for a place to start sooner, or mid-year, you should apply through the Hertfordshire In Year website. For main school places, it is possible for children to start very soon after your initial enquiry if needed and if spaces are available.

Please contact us for availability of places in your child's year group and to arrange a visit. If you have any questions please contact us directly.
The Admissions Policy for 2019-2020 (see below) applies for In Year places starting this academic year. Pease do get in touch if you need more information or have a question.
Though we are a Church of England school, we are open to all children and families, of any and no faith, who are sympathetic towards the Christian ethos and traditions we foster. We are firmly committed to the principals of inclusion and equality of opportunity.
When applying for a place, you will be asked to complete a Supplementary Information Form – SIF. This is in accordance with the Criteria set out in our Admissions Policy, and is only relevant if we are oversubscribed.
Useful Websites
We have now received confirmation that the Office of the School's Adjudicator (OSA) has reduced our Pupil Admission Number (PAN) to 15 for the current academic year. This is a variation from the originally published PAN of 20 and will ensure that our class sizes next year do not exceed the Infant Class Size regulations limiting KS1 classes to 30.
If you would like to read the decision publication on the OSA website, please follow the link here.
Our PAN for September 2018 intake is already set at 15. If you have any questions about this or any other aspect of our Admissions Policy, please contact the school office and we will be happy to help.
