Welcome to our website - we hope you find the information you are looking for.
As a Good School and learning community, we are proud of the excellent pastoral care and education we provide to our children. We have small class sizes which enable us to tailor lessons to individual children, so that all make excellent progress and none are left behind (OFSTED July 2015). Our exciting and varied curriculum supports children in developing life skills and interests that enable them to succeed and enjoy a huge variety of activities.
Our school is for children aged 3 - 9 years old and we welcome families from Great Hormead, Little Hormead, Hare Street, Wydial, and the surrounding area (including Buntingford - we're less than 2 miles away). We are a voluntary aided Church of England First School and have close links with the church of St Nicholas in Great Hormead.
We are very much the focal point of our community, hosting and participating fully in village life. Explore our website to find out about us, and do get in touch if you can't find what you're looking for.

Our School Prayer
This is our school.
Let peace dwell here.
Let the rooms be full of contentment.
Let love abide here:
Love of one another,
Love of mankind,
Love of life itself,
and love of God.
Let us remember,
that as many hands build a house,
so many hearts make a school.
